Do not deprive them of the joy of discovery, the pleasure of play, and the happiness of making you proud. Do not offer unsolicited advice about life and its hardships; instead, build a bridge of trust with them, so they come to you with love and confidence to ask their own questions.

One of the things that helps and benefits us in parenting in general, and behavior modification in particular, is being familiar with the growth characteristics and patterns of each age stage in a simplified, practical way. Our lack of knowledge regarding the characteristics of each stage our children go through leaves us confused by their actions.
